A Pink & Yellow Party: by Lil Hoot

18 January 2012

Are you drooling yet? This adorably creative party was thrown by Sarah from Lil Hoot Parties for her twin daughters.  I love how she celebrated their individual styles, with one loving the color yellow and preferring to wear baseball caps over pearls, and the other loving pink and everything girly.  Sarah did a beautiful job of styling the pink and yellow lovelies and I was honored that she asked me to do the paper goods for such a special event.  We started with the invitation, which was front and back so Charlotte and Phoebe had their own invitation in a way.  The other items were all designed with the speech bubbles in order to feature all their favorite things!  Sarah was amazing to work with as always!  What a talented lady this women is... really!  Please go to her blog to see more lovely pics from this party... it will blow your mind!

Guest Party Feature: An Animal Parade

02 December 2011

I fell upon this lively and colorful party on pinterest the other day and fell in love.  The party was put together by Jennifer Pebbles of the blog paper and ink.  Jennifer is a graphic designer in the craft industry and her great style shows in this adorable party she threw for her daughters first birthday.  She crafted everything from the napkin flowers to the hanging animals to her daughter's hair accessory.  I personally love her use of color and how even though she used a palette of many colors she was able to bring it all together in such a beautiful way... love love LOVE!  You must check out the party post to read more about the DIY's she took on and the ideas behind this lovely animal parade!
